Weld it up and keep for a spare. Whole lot of top fuel blocks are welded. I think they see more stress than that case. Pretty sure the top fuel guys don't just cross their fingers and hope the weld is good. Bet they NDT it.

How about a pic of the other side Looks like something hit on the parting line. My eyes are getting old so I didn't see it without the camera ...need glasses. The trans is going in a 2200lb drag car.

Just because somethings broke don't mean it's throw away.
