7 quarts plus whatever the filter, accusump, etc., holds. Get a quart container, add water a quart at a time up to the baffle, tray, full mark or wherever the oil level should be to verify. I expect 8 quarts total is fine.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

I have that pan and it's 8 quarts with filter. Not to disagree with Ron,but that's what my pan takes to fill it.The pan is a old one, purchased in 1973 by my Dad.

Actually I should add its more like 7-1/2 qts to fill mine as I add a botle of the zinc additive when I change the oil. I use a stock dipstick and it reads a hair over the full mark with the 7-1/2. But I know from years at the Dodge dealer not all factory dipsticks read right on the money. We had a few that had TSB's where we had to cut some off the dipstick tube as some were just to long and still read low with the proper amount of oil. So I may have the same 8 qt pan as maybe my dipstick tube is of a little ? I have no problem with 7 or 8 qts as I only race about once a year and even with just 7 qts its no problem. Ron
