Looking to spruce up '69 seat belt buckle (black). Anyone have an accurate product?

Try SEM. You want to get the existing paint stripped off. Most older interior parts were cleaned with Armorall. Need to wash in hot soapy water and the go over the part with a good wax and grease remover. If there's Armorall on the part the paint will fisheye.

Its definitely not the same SEM you'd used on dash pads, etc (at least the black isn't - bin there, done that!)
