I know that A-727 are decoded using a 10,000 day calendar, but can someone tell me how that works? For example, what would the date be for "3030"? I was also wondering if anyone knew when the production run for 1970 T/A began-end? I was told February through April...thanks, Marty

3030 = Thursday November 13, 1969

IIRC day 0001 is some day in 1962

the A53 "TRANS AM" cars were scheduled during March & April '70 (pilot cars built in February, a few production cars built early May)

If you think you have a TA/AAR transmission Barry Washington (Alaskan TA) can probably help you determine if the VIN on it fits in the range of these cars.
