I know it's not a Mope but it is getting a 354 Hemi and stick shift!!I thinking a tradional build maybe 32 rails 4" chop and a 1" channel should do the trick, and no fenders.
Joe

Nice. What did you have to give for it if you dont mind me asking. I have a 28/29 Cowl that I want to make a roadster Ratrod. I dig the fenderless look.

I paid 1800.00 for it.It has a clean Wis title and the it needs a few patches, mostly the wheel wells which is common and maybe a small quarter patch and a small cowl patch, but for 78 years old I'm happy with the old girl.It came out of norhtern Wi.
Thanks Joe

I see what looks like a fender too. However, the shiny piece is just a fairing as the trailer is most likely a snow-mobile trailer.

There is a pair front fenders but the shiney black thing is a salt shield so the snowmobiles don't get hit with all the slush and salt.

Are you over on the HAMB? Hate to keep mentioning it here, but for Traditional Ford Hot Rod stuff, it can't be beat. Lots of us over there too (Shhh!)

Awesome!! I had a '31 Ford Coupe myself, chopped 4", no channel. I ran a 335 horse 383 big block with an A-833 four speed and an 8 3/4.

It was a pile of junk but it was fun!!

Nice project. They are easy to chop, mine has about a
4-1/2" chop.

I've got a 30 Model A Sport Coupe that is getting a 354 one of these years. So, you aren't alone on this board with that project.

Joe, I just want to let you know you really got taken on this deal. That is an old junker and you really dont want it. So I guess being the nice guy that I am and me feeling bad and all I will buy it for what you have in just so you dont end up the one who got had...I will have to burden that responsibility myself.

Here's one that been sitting for the last 33 + years around my dad's farm. It used to sit in the back of the old barn out of the weather, but the barn started to fall in, and it was torn down about 10 years ago, since then it's sat out in the woods.

It's actually my Dad's brother-in-law's, and he thinks it's worth a mint, because he apparently has the original title and grille. Offered him $300 for all of it, but he said no.

I was told it was a 29 5-window. The chassis is there with the original engine, little 4 cyl. There is also a truck frame there for parts. Looks like the fenders would fit the car.

My dad's retired now, and looking to clean up around the place, and my uncle may get an ultimatum - "get it out or it's going to the scrapper". (of coarse, I am the scrapper, hehe!)

Probably could make a good rat rod out of the parts.
