I have a 72 Challenger that came with AC.
The AC is no longer in the car and the control valve is missing.
I still have the AC heater box in the car and the cable that runs from the dash controls to the valve. AC may get installed again some time down the road.
Classic Industries has the valve and with the bracket it runs about $200.
My car is no where near stock and I'm wondering if any one has used the four seasons valve that is on Summit.
If that is not the way to go, I will fork out the dough and get the one CI has.
Any opinions?
Thanks.

Go to Rockauto.com. That valve is very popular and should work for you just fine and a lot less moolah.
Dave at Roseville might help also if they carry it.

I solved the exact problem on my 70 with a valve from a later import car. I am lucky that the parts store has books and I could pick a small inexpensive valve to control flow to the core until I decide whether or not to install Classic Air.

Does anyone have a pic of the Four Seasons valve installed?
I bought the one for E bodies but the mounting looks to be different.
Is there another bracket that I need?
