I,m finishing up installing tti 400sr-218 headers on a low deck 470. My B&M pro ratchet shifter cable is so captured by the tubes that I may have to go to a rear entry type cable. What are you guys using that fits in this very limited space?

How long is the shifter cable? I switched from a 5' cable to a 4' cable and put a 3' length of heat sleeve over it.

I believe it is the 5 foot cable. the issue is the lower header tube sits right where the bracket on the trans positions the cable by the bellhousing. the old pro parts headers were tight to the cable but these tti are really in the way.ill look and see if a shorter cable might help.

I have the same set up in my roadrunner. I use a turbo action shifter. Cable enters from the rear. Works great.
