Now that you've tuned a bit with FAST and Holley, which do you prefer? Please don't be politically correct I'm sure you have a preference...please elaborate. Thanks!

Actually I have tuned 6 different systems: AEM, Big Stuff, Holley, FAST, Motec, and HP Tuners. Its one of the reasons I have set aside 1/2 day to just answer questions.
Of that group, I have decided to specialize on Holley and FAST for what I feel are good reasons. But an "honest" answer to your question will still sound PC because there are really things I like about both. I'll put together a simple list of features that people want from EFI; then I'll mark, without comment, which of the two handle a particular need or feature better than the other IMO. I'll gladly make my opinions public.
Remember, that in the world of electronics things change quickly, so what's hot today might be the result of the latest technical approach where one product has simply leapfrogged the other. Quality products come from competition.

Too bad its on the other side of the world.. I am always interested in learning more Yeah same here. Not a lot of people I can bounce things off of to get a different perspective. I like to think I have a handle on this stuff, but you never know what you don't know! Maybe Rich could do a "webinar". It would also be easy enough to record a video of the class, post it as private on dropbox or something, then charge a fee for account access. This method wouldn't be live, so it would be limited in the fact that us "students" wouldn't be able to ask questions. Still has potential value though.

I took an EFI class back in January. It was a neat class, learned more than I thought I would. There was a wide arrange of people in the class ranging from Tina and her Husband Dave from Street outlaws down to guys who didn't know a thing about EFI. Our day 2 project was a Turbo LS mustang that we had to push on the dyno because it wouldn't start in the cold. The class ended with that car starting and idling perfect and making 1180hp to the tires.
Getting in a room of like minded individuals with a common goal usually works out pretty good. I am sure Rich's class would be a similar experience.

Yes, I like the idea of viewing a recorded EFI class too. I would like to see a video/tutorial of an EFI install that starts from turning on the laptop and accessing the ECU for the first time to the point of a nice idling/running engine that can then be driven for further tuning or taken to a dyno. The driving and/or dyno tuning could be part two or three of the series. OK Rich, when will these be available?

I actually tuned Accel back in the day. I just haven't kept up. But I did buy every last small head dual-sync dizzy they had... LOL. I've got a dual sync dizzy I'll be testing out soon.... So tempting to go carbs but I have all the Gen VII setup and still want to run it and see if it works....
