Is there a source for the plastic clip that holds the rod from the key lock to the lock mechanism?
I need one for a 1984 D100, drivers door lock.

I found a Dorman part that appears similar, applications show it's for GM products.

I just replaced 2 of them last week in a 84 dually. Went to Oreilley's and bought 2 pkgs of assorted clips for GM & Ford. Each pkg had 1 that I needed.

For anyone doing a search,
Dorman 75450 clip assortment, $3.99 at O'Reillys.
Although the package does say GM & Ford, the yellow clip fits.
There are two holes on the lock that the rod can go to, use the outer hole, the inner hole will not give enough travel to unlock with the key.

At the shop I used metal carb clips when I could.They went over the latch and rod went thru then clipped on.Some you can use them some you cant.Still have a supply in the garage I had at work.Rocky
