What year of Cuda? What wheel width and back spacing?

I have that size tire on my 70 cuda on stock 15x7 Rallye wheels. No rubbing for me. Same here, 245/60/15 and I've run 255/60/15 on 15x7 ralleys up fromy with no rub, it depends on the tire, some have a more rounded sidewall profile, some more square in profile, plus each mfg has slightly different widths for the same aspect sized tire, ride height also plays into it

it depends on the tire, some have a more rounded sidewall profile, some more square in profile, plus each mfg has slightly different widths for the same aspect sized tire, ride height also plays into it amen to that. i have seen almost an inch difference in all dimensions from one manufacture to another while having the same size on the sidewalls. this includes all sizes and all profiles. i have been well aware of this for over 45 years. i was friends with a couple of re-cappers back in the day this was an acceptable, and often the only affordable option, to new tires. they would constantly gripe about how the tires would fit in the molds after they were ground for capping. those guys had a type of measuring device that would dictate how a tire would fit, and what sizes would go in each mold. as long as the wheel size was the same [13 to 16], and the measuring tool told what mold to use, that dictated what went into the specific mold. that was when bias tires were the only game in town. and those guys really had a fit when radials became the norm !

looks like im going to be runnin 235/60-15s You have to read all the mfg's data on their tire profile specs, and compare what you have currently to make a sound judgement before buying....you'll find that 235 may/may not be available depending on mfg's choice...and a 225 is just too small, with a little research you can find a 245 or 255 that will fit
