Bushing installer and something to compress the clutch pack return spring. C clamps can be used.

OT I would clean the outside case surgically clean then with it on it side/belly up, with your dial indicator measure the input shaft end play clearance & write that on the inside bell face with a magic marker for future reference then slide hammer the pump out & pull the pan & get after it. need expanding snap ring pliers with the thin flat ends for the ext housing big snap ring. taking notes (pics even better) is a good plan.

Service manual. I take my clutch packs to a local transmission shop and they have done this for free in 3 different towns. Just be nice.

Thanks for the replies, im near re assembly as I had to find some hard parts that were a bit damaged, clutch pack welded itself together and I cut the sungear/drum off and popped the ring on the clutch pack and got it apart.

I made a tool to compress the clutch pack spring and borrowed a friends high dollar set of nearly 100 different solid dolls? to r N r the bushings.

Im gonna get a few more performance parts to dump in it and proceed.

In the past ive just tossed the clutches in and a few seals and gaskets and ran with it.

This time its everything and a semi fun time.

I did find a few good vids on you tube that really helped that I watched them before hand.
