If I recall correctly, spline shape and placement in the spool, is different than others when using Mark Williams parts. You may want to confirm that, but that seems to be rattling in my brain.

Yep, Mark Williams has their own unique splines. Their axles will only work in their spool. Other company's parts interchange...Strange spool w/ Moser axles, etc.

FWIW...I've seen a bunch of twisted and broken Strange axles, but not Mosers.
