Replace the brake hose to the LF. It's likely collapsed.

Replace the brake hose to the LF. It's likely collapsed. Agreed, common problem on the Ram rust buckets, if it ain't gas tank straps rusting out it's brake lines, including rubber ones, they usually get built up with rust inside allowing the caliper to retain pressure, I'd replace ALL the rubber lines upfront, been there, done that

next time it does it, pull over & crack the bleeder (open it then shut it) & see if that releases it. EDIT do it if possible on a deserted stretch of road & go aways WO hitting the brake & see if it cools off/or stays free.
