I am going to put a FItech on this engine. It is a 2bbl. When I replace the manifold, does it have to be an EGR stlye since it is a 1974?

No as you will not be using (or want to use) the EGR function.

You have emissions inspections there?

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

More importantly, Does your car have to pass emissions testing where you live. A 74 model year could predate emissions test requirements.
If you need to pass emissions testing, you will probably need the EGR. Gene
