I want to make some sort of panel to mount in the passenger's floorboard, or semi-underneath the dash, to mount my electronics to. It's gotten to the point where I have a few things mounted under the dash now and I want to clean it up while making it more accessible. The ignition box, timing retard box, nitrous progressive, 2 step, etc. takes up some room. I'd like to see some pics of how yall have mounted your electronics inside the car.

I have my EFI computer under the seat and my relays and terminal blocks under the dash. Someday when I redo this I will try to fit it all under the passenger seat. It is way easier to pull the seat out than it is to cram my 6'3 240lb self under the dash with the cage and down bar.

Mr P...I have the ignition box and 2 step mounted in the glove box area. The timing controller is underneath the glove box mounted on the bottom of the dash frame. Currently just using a digiset for the nitrous mounted on the bottom edge of the firewall. I'd like to get it all in one area and easier to get to.
Bad340...I like that idea! I'm 6'5" 330 lbs so I know what you mean!
My car has all the factory interior still in place, except for the heater box assembly which has been removed. I thought about the kick panel area, but the rollcage down bars are kinda in the way and the kick panel is to small anyway I think.

Right now I run a MSD 7AL for ignition but I will be pulling that out and mounting the Holley HP controller where that is.. that will open up space for me... I was gonna put the controller under the pas seat but I didnt want that wad of wires running along the edge of the floor.. digisets are small so that doesnt take up much space

I'll see if I can dig up some pics.
In my dart I made an aluminum sheet that resided where the heater box use to, mounted all my electronics there with some terminal blocks, came out OK. When I re-do it, the passenger side of the dash will be removable...I am done monkeying under the dash...haha
The Plymouth still has the heater box, so I made a double layer lexan panel that mounts to the bottom of the heater box that houses all my aux wiring, relay bank, N2O controller, and serves as a terminal block for all the EFI junk.

I can't get the pics on my phone to load on here. I put a piano hinge and put it on one side and 2 dzus on the other so it flips up under the dash . PM me your phone number and i'll text them to you . Took me a little while to figure it out but you can download a free photo resizer, it will resize the photo and automatically put it in a folder in your photo gallery. Then you can post it here from your phone.

I have my MSD and fuses mounted on a swing down plate on my GTX, and am doing the same on the Road Runner. It is held up with a magnet.

Hi Chip, here's what I did. I made a little panel out of carbon fiber for the box and some relays, digiset on the firewall.

Sorry for the quality...cell phone pic during mock-up of the Plymouth wiring...
Wiring is not my thing unfortunately, and I had to fit this on the underside of the heater box, so this hangs upside down (in hindsight, a hinge is a good idea). Its just tinted 1/8" lexan from McMaster, and I used the same to make a cover so the passenger doesn't kick any live wires.
