So, I serviced the Filter after replacing the fuel pump on my 2000 Jeep WJ.

Ever since that the thing humms when running. I know its the fuel filter assy as the fuel regulator is in the filter assy. I can change the filter and it will be quiet for a day then start up again. Ive read the Mopar filter is the "fix". Well no so much. I can go under and push on the return line and get it to stop, and as soon as the line relaxes into is normal resting place it will start humming again.. This is so loud I can hear it over my radio going down the road. It comes and goes.

Has anyone else on here heard of this and know of a cure. Other forums say theres a issue with O rings, but seeing it is a bypass system if the O rings were messed up it would leak IMHO. I just hate to keep swaping out filters at 45 bucks a shot. Ive put 2 aftermarket filters on and 1 mopar one at 55 bucks. so Ive spent 145 in filters in a few months.

Should I plumb a holly return system fuel regulator and plumb in a different fuel filter assy?
