I took one from one of my 66 parts cars for my 67 RT... I glass bead blasted it, then taped off the blades and painted it black..
I am sure I have made the mopar god mad, but it came out very nice.. Still looks good 10 years later....

I would have suggested you have it vapor blasted, but since it has been sanded, I doubt it would work now. Was not real familiar with vapor blasting, but did some reading and watching videos of it and I agree it sounds like a very good option. I actually have an extra fan that I may send out to be vapor blasted and see how it turns out. Thanks for the suggestion

Any time you have an aluminum piece that you want to look original never sand or glass bead it, cause it changes the texture. Need to go look at mine.. Been so long ago that I can't remember. Maybe I taped off the blades and blasted the center, then painted the center?? Getting old sucks...
