Mr.Yuck OP Not enough dumb comments...yet Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 24,562 Brookeville, Md	I'm guessing it would be car specific. Not all cages are welded the same. It would involve a small template...I used cardboard. They take about 12-16 hours to print out. So I'd guess a 10-14 day turn around.

The materials are dirt cheap, and they have the exact backing as the factory units...meaning the "nubs" embossed for the factory screws. Doubt you could make that as accurate in less than an hour.

I thought an hour on each side of my bracket car was too much time on the project, but I guess not. Cut and stitch must be a lost art these days. I think I could do a nicer product in much less time the old school way since our cars are "old school".

Again this is a S L O W printer. This is NOT a money making endeavor, just wanted to see if anybody would like a set. The program runs at night while we all sleep....

Maybe you could produce some sort of "Texture" pattern on the outside so they would look a bit more time period correct. Can that material be painted. I think its a great concept if it can be tweaked a bit.
