I got a customer here wanting me to put a 360 in his 65 dart, usually I just ding the pan to clear the frame in the front, his car is really nice so is there a pan we can put in without bankgin it all up first?

yes, you need the 392 "center sump" pan which is a 360 pan, number stamped on the bottom in big letters, cant miss it). the front sump is ~8" long and starts ~4" back from a vertical plumb line straight down from the very front of the pan lip. it uses a specific pickup with a sharp bend in the middle (I think pics are on my old computer but I will check for you). hold the 64-66 A body 273 mts up to the 360 block & you will see on the one side (I forget which side) where you just weld a simple triangular ear to the mt so you can use a 3rd bolt cuz you need (3) thru bolts on each side/mt. (other mt is fine as is). 273 V8 ex manis fit but are VERY restricted (1&7/8 outlet). Score some 92/early 93 magnum ex manifolds which have a 2&5/16 outlet (later ones look identical but have the same 1&7/8 outlets as the 273 manis do). the good ones might run you 100-150. the DR side one might need slight column mods (early A tolerances are the worst) but they are my faves. definitely go with the 904. Holler if you need more info.

He's got w2 heads so no manifolds, hes gonna have to cough up for TTIs. I already got the motor mounts fingered out also but thanks. He is going to run a 4 speed in this one.

I have magnum manifods on my 66 dart and they fit easier than the factory ones with no columb mods (manual steering) 904 console shifted. They are the later ones, I am saving my last set of 618 and 619 for my 99 dakota.

I am doing a similar build for a drag car. I'm using closed chamber econo heads. It's a 65 Dart. I think I'm gonna do headers through the hood derby style, only with collectors. Otherwise it's ttis or custom headers

Headers are an issue with W2 heads. 1 5/8 are not going to cut it with W2. 1 7/8 is your only option. Buy Headman fenderwell headers. There is wheel room unless your going pro street. Cut the flanges and weld them to a pair of W2 flanges. W2 flange spacers will not work if you attack them to the head and try to bolt on the headers.

He absolutly does not want to cut the fender wells, just got done fixing them from the previous owner doing it. He is willing to sacrifice some performance to not cut up his car again.

WRT He absolutly does not want to cut the fender wells

Is his concern originality, or just structure and air management?
If he just wants the shock tower stiffness retained, he can reverse-box the tower where the header bend will contact. Many cooking utensils, industrial containers, fender scrap pieces, etc. have useful shapes like shallow bowls so you don't have to fabricate a 3-dimensional patch.
It doesn't absolutely need to be welded (but I would if you can), 1" overlapping seams + double row of pop rivets is enough.

My bad, it is on page 15 by RAMM, it is for the W2 flanges only with 1 3/4 stubs, not the complete set of headers, SORRY blush

If you looking for a deep pan the Moroso deep pan fits with no hammer, if you just need a stock pan, the Milodon stock replacement pan for 360 works, i have used both.
