I'm in the process of buying wheels for my car and I need some info on who I can order a set from. I have a 69 Road Runner that has mini tubs, so I need someone to make me a set with a lot of back spacing. I'm open to most brands, I just need some info on who to call. Thanks, Bobby.

Did you have the leaf springs move from the stock locations? If not that will limit how wide rims, the offset and tires you can use I'm pretty sure you can runs some 8.0 or 10.0 wide rims(with the proper back spacing) with some pretty wide tires with the stock leaf springs in the stock locations I use help some people run a 1968 or 1969 Hemi GTX in NHRA stock class back(early 1970s) when we still had to run street type tires and non race aluminum weight wheels, we had a set of L60x15 M&H on a set of Cragar S/S chrome spoke wheels either 8 or 10 inches wide, CRS from the early 1970s disease

Thanks for the info guys, I looked at American Racing and couldn't decide on a wheel and Summit looks promising. I did move my leaf springs in with kit that requires cutting the frame, so according to my measurements I can use a 15" x 12" wheel with 8" of back spacing and Summit does have some Weld wheels with these measurements. And I am being cautious on my measuring cause it can be a costly mistake, don't ask me how I know.

Best deal on mine was through Summit, who helped me with backspacing options... You indirectly bought from Wheel Vintiques.

Best deal on mine was through Summit, who helped me with backspacing options... You indirectly bought from Wheel Vintiques. If I recall ( its been a while and I am OLD) I purchased EXACTLY what I wanted, they came with some special shipping price ( 9 bucks TOTAL, if I "remember" correctly ) and it seems as if it was 12 months NO interest... Thanks to "whoever'....... AS a side note, BOTH 8" wheels ( used 7" up front) had minute flaws that caused air leaks... One I caught within the first few months but the other was pretty old ( 5 or 6 years) before it was diagnosed and summit/American racing replaced them both NO PROBLEM... Some Kudos for that....

Most modern 5x114 rims ([censored]-mustang) run on a +38mm offset - 1 1/2 inches, some are more, +40 - 44 seem to be regular sizes for the nissan boys
so at +38 a 12" would be 7 1/2" backspace and an 11 would be 7"
could be a nice "cheap" way of doing a mock up for sizing if you can find some cheapies on craigslist
[wow you cant say j a p lols]
