A member of the club has a 1965 Coronet SW and the wiper switch is now dead. This particular one is infinitely variable...first step turns it on and as you twist the switch, wipe speed increases. Where can he get a new one or have this one repaired??? It rains a lot in the Northwest and he cannot drive the car in the rain without wipers.

My 65 Cuda used one similar, it went dead and I had a 3488764 in my stash of parts that worked, mounting shaft was a bit long but a washer or two spaced the switch back and it fit.

Glad you were able to solve your problem with a backup....I am still hoping someone rebuilds these things, anyone?

Try J&S restorations here on the board I looked at his web site and from what I saw, I would be proud to have him restore a switch for me, if I needed it.  I passed the phone number on to my friend and he may be calling today...it is raining again...
