a simple upgrade would be a comp 268H high energy cam...along with their springs.

The stock cam that came out of one of my 69 340 Swingers mapped out at...444/429 with a 210/220 duration@50 on a 114 centerline. at least you now know what a stock factory cam was.

I am amazed how well the Comp Cams 268 cam runs! Really it is not a wild cam and I believe its not ground for the mopar .904" lifter. None the less that grind is putting out some awesome 1/4mile times. Sounds like the right cam for you. Lets you retain your tried and true stamped rocker arms and maybe even your existing valve springs-?
Keep old mopars alive.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the process of rebuilding my 34 also. The guy doing my engine work has mentioned the Com 267 also. I'll give him a copy of the article. thanks,
