From my understanding it's the exact same casting as the truck engine just the hellcat block is machined differently. IMO unless you already haver the parts, going small block over G3 doesn't make any sense. The combination will make more power with less. Matt

I try and keep it simple... Yes on the reluctor wheel , NO on the cam. But all you need to do with the stock cam is lock it out. Comp cams has a kit.

Anyone care to elaborate on the supposed machining difference in the BGE and hellcat? I dont see any... I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

Wherever they drill into they go a little deeper. Then there's the torque plates when they hone it. Other than that I have nothing. Wonder why they don't offer the BGE bare block anymore? I can't find a dealer selling one right now. Matt
