Am I missing something, or are all the Mopar M1 small block magnum to carburetor intakes out of stock and out of production?

I'll be dropping in a late model 5.9 and carbing it to get my Challenger back on the road ASAP. I want to be able to use the same intake for carb first, then EFI once I get the rest of the car converted up to EFI. Edelbrock's Air-Gap Magnum is not EFI-ready like the M1's are.

Might want to give Summit a call. I found a couple of things for my 3.9 V6 that wasn't listed but they still had in stock.

I misread. You must be after the manifold that has provision for individual injectors.

The M1 carb intakes are out of production. Indy has a few old stock on hand. $300 plus shipping. On their clearance page.

Airgap by edelbrock is available at a few places too. There's a generic copy of the airgap that's on eBay fairly regularly too

Break your piggy bank, go through the sofas and overstuffed chairs, clean out your car and your savings account. It sounds to me that you need the Hughes/Edelbrock Performer RPM FI intake.

https://www.hughesengines.com/Index/prod...mp;partid=24773

It's expensive but it is a finished product, carburetor but upgradeable to EFI.

Tried to order what? Indy has the Mopar 4bbl M1 intakes in stock at $299 just a couple weeks ago. Hurry up before they're gone. Might never see them cast again down

Hughes has the airgaps, linked above.

I missed the original post where he said he eventually wanted to go EFI, so the knockoff intakes on eBay won't work. They don't have bosses in them.

Indy has their own magnum single plane that has injector bosses cast into it as well. We run one on our 5.9 magnum and love it.

O5Dak: close off the injector holes with cup plugs. You know, if they were bigger we'd be calling them freeze plugs. Then when the time is right you pull them and insert injectors.

They turn up on the Dakota RT boards from time to time.

I came across a good forum deal on a NIB Eddie RPM Air-Gap with fittings and billet T-stat housing. I grabbed it, figuring I can sell it reasonably later when I get around to rigging up the EFI. I'll still be watching for a good EFI intake since I use an injected 5.9 Magnum in my '68 Charger. The Challenger just needs to be back on the road ASAP.

Keep it going, Lets see what exists.

So you called Indy, spoke to a real person on the phone, and they said they're finally sold out? I bought 2 from them just a few months ago and they said 'we have a few dozen left'

If Indy is sold out, I will sell you mine for $500 shipped. If they aren't sold out, then order one from them for $350 shipped.

Yup the 2bbl ones went out of production/sold out first. Everyone was afraid of the larger 4bbl intake with bigger runner volumes would loose too much torque on a stock bottom end 5.9 magnum, but when I made the swap I noticed no loss of torque. Smoking the hides from a roll with ease using either intake style. But the 4bbl has better top end
