Who makes the most accurate reproduction e brake cables? I can tell you it's not Year One. They don't make the end that fits in the frame where it will accept a clip. It's just loosely stuck in the hole in the frame bracket.

I have no experience with any of the reproduction cables. Perhaps just getting a nice original that is made right would be better?

I do know if you have a decent original cable you can clean it up by rolling it in a loop and putting it in the bottom of a paint bucket with Evaporust in it overnight. Mine looked like it needed to be tossed, but it came out great after I got all the surface rust off it.

I don't think any of them have truly correct ends on them or the firewall gasket.

Still you might want to check out fine lines.

This is a customers car with rust stuck cables. I don't have any to sell from a spare rear housing.
