I had a guy bring me a sbc version of the pro flo that no one locally could fix for him. It was a complete system with edelbrock ecu. It had all sorts of idle issues, acceleration issues, starting issues etc... The ECU was a "locked" rebranded version of an EFI technologies ecu. I was locked out of to many parameters, so I had him upgrade to the unlocked software version. The unlocked version is a very capable, yet complicated system. After being able to see and alter what I needed the car ran great MOST of the time. It had intermittent stumbles and idle flaring. The problem was continually failing TPS sensors. It turned out to be the throttle shaft on the throttle body is a touch to long, and it would side load and eventually kill the TPS sensors (3 before actually finding the cause). If you have or are going to use the edelbrock throttle body, check this! He actually put a Holley hp ECU on the car with the same intake set up a year or so ago. His brother uses a Dominator system and had him switch over because he liked the software and logging so much more than the Edelbrock. Happy as a clam with this set up, and he is VERY picky about driveability. He also uses the dual sync.

I have been very happy with the megasquirt stuff. It has tons and tons of features at a good price point. With that money savings comes a little more labor on setup but there is almost nothing you can't do with an MS3X, or MS3Pro. My homebuilt ECU is coming up on two years old now.

Any good aftermarket EFI ECU will work fine with that manifold. The Holley HP or the FAST XFI, or MS. Hi Rich, have you had any experience with the Edelbrock system? I think I'll most likely use the Holley to work with this intake but was just wondering.

Wish they made one for low deck! True, that and an RB spacer option would have been a more lucrative investment. RT
