1969 Charger R/T: 440HP 4bbl engine * 727 automatic transmission * 8-3/4" with 3.23:1 ratio non-sure-grip was STANDARD
the 4-speed manual transmission (18-spline) was OPTIONAL at NO-COST (no-charge)
if you chose the 4-speed manual transmission, it was mandatory that you purchased an OPTIONAL "axle package" A33 = 3.54:1 DANA 60 - $142.85 (includes 26" radiator) or A34 = 4.10:1 DANA 60 - $256.45 (includes 26" radiator & power disc brakes) so the transmission really wasn't free

Jim, my '71 Hemi Charger was a 3:55 8-3/4 (auto).
Question, if you ordered the Track Pack or Super Track Pack with an auto, did those packages come with the Dana?

The 8 3/4 axle packages have different names.
Question: Do you guys have the Galen white books Do you spend any time reading what those different codes are? Or go to Hamtramck Historical site and do some reading. That is an awesome website with tons of factory info to learn from.
It's a great website with TONS of information. I rarely use my little white books

the 3.54 DANA 60 was NOT available in any automatic car & NO 4.10 DANA 60 in any car before 1969
when engines were available & all '69 A-12 440+6 cars are 4.10 DANA 60
1969 - 1972 the A33 = "TRACK PAK" 3.54 DANA 60 was available 440/440+6/HEMI w/4-speed ONLY
1969 - 1970 the A34 = "SUPER TRACK PAK" 4.10 DANA 60 was available 440/440+6/HEMI w/4-speed ONLY
1969 - 1970 the A32 = "SUPER PERFORMANCE AXLE PACKAGE" 4.10 DANA 60 was available 440/440+6/HEMI w/automatic ONLY
1971 the A34 = "SUPER TRACK PAK" 4.10 DANA 60 was available 440/440+6/HEMI w/4-speed & automatic
"Back in the day" HS buddy of mine had a white '69 Coronet RT, red interior, 440, auto, 4.10 Dana. Was one of the fastest stock cars I'd ever been in. Car was 100% original and his daily driver to school/work. Drove in the rain/snow. Was a rotted hulk at the end. He did save the motor and rear end for another car, however. To this day, I wonder how rare that car was?

AFAIK it was sold several times after Steve had it
Carsten True. Three of the owners contacted me for info on the car. The last guy to message me was massmopar. He finally painted the car and passed it along. KID
