Midway through performing this repair I've discovered a simple, trouble-free 3 step solution for radiator replacement on a PT Cruiser Turbo: 1: Have PT Cruiser Turbo towed to dealer. 2: Pay dealer to replace radiator on PT Cruiser Turbo. 3: Drive PT Cruiser Turbo home. Following these simple steps will virtually eliminate stress from skinned knuckles and help you maintain a healthy blood pressure level.

replacing a PT radiator isn't that hard, you have to remove it to replace the starter.

There is an easier way
1. Have PT Cruiser Turbo hauled away to scrapper Wife's car. She's had two of 'em. Offered to get her a Chrysler 300 or Charger last time around, she wanted another PT Cruiser. Now she's wanting a Hummer H2.

No way do you have to R&R the rad to change starter.I can change them without even removing the brace under it.if i was a bit younger i might be able to do it all from the top.Last one i did on the wifes took all of 20 minutes.that was in the drive.Of course I have my tools from 30 years as a wrench.Rocky

The only PT starter Ive replaced the car also needed a radiator so I did it from the top....and from the top it has to come out. I have not tried to do a PT starter from the bottom.
