I need one too, I called and asked them for a specific Stall Speed going by our dyno numbers. They said they couldn't do it like that. I was scratching my head because I really want to get a ATI one.

I should have been more specific. I did give them all that information as well. They told me they couldn't guarantee the accuracy of the stall. It would be trial and error.
I wasn't feeling warm and fuzzy after the phone call.

I don't think Any company can/will Guarantee a Specific stall. They can usually get pretty close and sometimes hit it Spot on. Some even Offer a Free first time adjustment.

There are just To many variables to absolutely guarantee a Specific stall. Even with a Dyno sheet, that can be a Big variable in itself. They can be over 10% difference from one to another.

On your Specific Stall request, just how Specific were you? work smoke

Love my ATI....I called a number of places for quotes before settling on them. They handled my big engine no problem. Others didn;t even know what to quote

All my ATI converters have been great, footbrake to a 1.36 60 foot in a 9.90 car on Sunday and cruise on the street Monday.

Couple years ago I sent my 8" to ATI for inspection/freshen. They called me and asked why, I said I was freshening the engine after 450 runs and figured I should do convertor as well.
They said I could wait longer as there was nothing wrong with it.

I will look later for my contact info there. I believe it is Art but don't quote me on that. Lots of good folks there but yes I believe there are one or two who seem pretty ambivalent about their jobs for sure.

I don't think Art works there any more.
If you are buying from overseas go through a 3rd party vendor as ATi won't accept any sort of overseas credit card payment and insisted on western union (or something). Lot of hassle, extra cost and delay but a good product.
