whats the easiest and best way to get a front end close enough so I can drive it to the alignment shop? I don't have any special tools. the car is a 67 Coronet thanks

Use a level to get the wheel to true vertical (neither neg or pos camber) and make the front of the tires (as high up as can, which might be only about 5:00 o'clock ) equal to the rear of the tire (about 7:00 o'clock) so that you have something close to zero toe.

If your only driving straight to alignment thats way more than adequate

get the tires vertical(at the top) w the cam bolts & w the steering wheel straight ahead, with the tie rods sleeves get the tires pointed straight ahead(on the front of the tires) & snug everything down.

What they said - use a level top to bottom on the tires/wheels and twist the upper control arm cam bolts until the tire is level in the vertical plane. Measure between the front tires in the front and back so they are the same distance apart.
