28.10.5 track conditions were very poor that day... we had a tuff day but still managed to come home with a nice check...

does it look like the tires start to unload a little bit about two to five inches out from the launch ?

Cab has it right, this is far from smooth. Shocks are too soft on extension. If you freeze it at the hit, the sidewall is compressed to about half it's height. And the car is out a bit before it actually "stands" the tire up. All that is eating 60ft. It pounded the tire so hard, it was a whisker from blowing them off. Watch the video again. You nearly see daylight under left rear when it hammers, cups and rebounds.

What would be the shock setting to shoot for....no sudden separation/extension with minimal to no tire compression or just a slower separation with more tire pressure to minimize tire squash?

Looks good, what was your tire pressure? Looks like time for radials to me....
Also any wheelie bars on your car? 13.5 was the air pressure..and no bars on car...I had a set of 275s pro in the pit...but I would have never got them to work that day...

I agree 100% with the shock needing more extension control... and actually started off that way... wrong or right we actually were able to get the car to go down the track this way.. track prep was non-existent for this import vs. Domestic shootout... with our normal shock settings the car would not even moved 1 inch before blowing the tire off.. Im still new at this and learning every day... appreciate your guyses input..

Its just hammering the tire. It may simply need to be tighter on rear extension. But it may also need tighter front extension, an air pressure adjustment, weight bias change or all the above. All I know is what I see in that video and that is the tire is very unhappy. From previous discussions about the lack of 60ft from this car, I would say this is an ongoing issue.
If it will only work on a marginal track by punishing the tire as he alluded to above......the set up is off.
The thing about data and video, is that it is great to have, but you have to learn to use it. Guys also get caught up in a goal......lets say 60ft. BUT, don't worry about 60ft, until you go 30ft and don't worry about 30ft until you go 10ft. Fix the FIRST thing wrong. And in this case it's the way the car hits the tire. If you don't fix this, you will never fix anything else.

Well, that remains to be seen, because as discussed above, this car is far from working very good. It has issues, which is why I suspect he posted the video.
The stacked spacers puts the leverage point well away from the spring. Maybe the shock is good enough to control pinion rise with the added leverage, maybe it's not. That remains to be seen

Can't or don't know how to do it with You Tube but if you have the original video, I found a free player called "media player home classic cinema" from https://mpc-hc.org/. You can slow a video down 10X. Works great for viewing launches.

I think everyone that watches the video can tell my car is a piece of sh!t.. I never claimed to be the best or better than than anyone else... I already explained that I didn't think the shock settings were correct. But that's where I ended up that day.. to go A to B....

Nobody said anything about your car being that. But you have posted several questions here, as well as putting up this video. Only trying to help you, based on what I see. If you would rather not have any more comments from me........I will gladly bow out, just say the word.
Trying to make a small tire leaf car 60ft hard is a tough job. You are doing fine, but there is definitely more there. In case you haven't noticed, I don't sugar coat things......LOL!!! Ask me what I see or think and I will tell you. I would rather hear things straight and that's the way I tend to give it. Some are not like that and I understand that as well. We are grown men, should be able to have a conversation and not take it personally..........because it's NOT personal. You don't know me, I don't know you.
