SS/AH = Super Stock HEMI cars from the 60s like the factory Cudas and Darts.
K.O.S. = King Of the Street. All mopar racing organization that was popular back in the '90s where they bascicaly had two classes: Super Street and Eazy Street. Lots of NOS was used and cars had to be "street car" weight.
F.A.S.T. = Factory Appearing Stock.
Cars just need to "look and sound" stock. Our own Dave Dudeck is one of the countrys best and, IIRC, has the national record.
Hope this helps.

Very good details of these classes. But of course it is SS/AH not AA/AH. Ron

One more correction if I may:
F.A.S.T. = Factory Appearing Stock Tire The cars have to run on original style small bias ply tires. All the rules and race format can be seen at www.fastraces.org.

KOS
Started in 1994, I beleive. For the first couple years it was a stock rear suspension no nitrous class with mostly Indy Cylinder Head enties as they started the deal and put the money up for the class.
To open up the rules they started allowing alternate suspensions but stock rear frame rail rules. And nitrous was added with a weight penalty.
The class progressed or got screwed up from there and basically followed the National Mucle Car Association rules for Super Street. The need was seen in 1997 to add another class. So that made two classes SS and EZ Street.
EZ street was basically the rules that KOS started with and specified stock suspension and steel heads. It followed the rules of National Mucle Car Association's EZ street.
As years went by the rules got loosened every year for both of these classes.
The last couple years Pro Max a speed shop in Indy sponsored a third class Muscle Street which was basically the rules EZ street started with.
KOS ran it's last full season in 2005.
They have a reunion in Clay City almost every year. Clay City, KN is a track that was very popular for KOS in the mid 90's.
