Been tossing this around for a while and this 06 RT just fell in my lap for peanuts.
Runs great but has 150K miles on the Hemi.
So I have a 69 Coronet 500 with a very sad frame and pans.
Goal is to just make a modern driver with an old look 69 Hemi Bee that I can drive everywhere right now.
I am not trying to accomplish a restomod with shaved this and that, etc. I will even add correct steel wheels on this bee and make it look stone stock on the outside.
I am going to meld the two together which is nothing new now as it has been done quite a few times already.
So finally getting to my question if/when this 5.7 bites the dust would I be dreaming to think that a hellcat engine will fit in this 06 platform relatively easy. I understand the 06 suspension etc is going to need a few upgrades but is it overall feasible.
