hi heads, indy 360-1 cnc flow343 @ 600 intake 225 ex @600 ,indy intake,750 bg , t d 1.6 rollors. 410 cube ,11.8 comp ,259/265 @ 050 109 l/c 3 degee advance .200 figures are 176 in 171 ex solid flat tappet 3300 stall 904 , 3.9 gears 26/10/15 slicks 3550 lbs. done a couple changers,an raced her today ,they where 840 pro systems carbie , 4900. split mono leaf .caltracs are set top hole 0 pre load 50/50 rear shocks, 25 psi tyre pressure.1 pass 2.20 60 ft ,97 mph @8.02 spun 3/4 track .2 pass 20 psi 1.8 60 ft 7.48 @ 100 mph , spinning hard first an second . cabie and converter made it come to life . 3550 @ 100 mph is close to 590 hp . all help welcome.

You could move the cam back to 0 to pull some of the
torque out down low and give you a better run on the
top end.... or you could just put in a programmable
7 MSD box to add timing in after the launch

b 4 i made the changes the cam was retared and it ran 7.6 at 95 mph car has ran 6.7 @103 with 150 nos j heads 10.1 comp , ryan j is helping me with the combo works a lot better than it did.

What he said... Id start around 14 lbs and go down from there if they are slicks...


11.48 @ 120 with a 1.80 60' 318, stock 1.88 heads, stock 904, Pump Gas, 13 lbs of boost.

9.94 @ 134, 318 on pump gas, 14 lbs w/ Eddies, transbrake 727, 3600 lbs, 3.54 gear and 28's.

Dont know what tire you have on the rear, but 25 psi is high for a slick.If you have a slick on lower it and if that dont work put the Cal Tracs in the lower hole and preload them.Good luck

Like the others have said... lower your tire pressure
and also stiffen up the shock(extension). Take a
video of your launch... you'll learn alot from the video

Yep, tire pressure! Compression is low for that intake port, and cam will not really "use" that head the best it can!!
You have alot left on the table for sure.

tyres are 255/60/15 drag radial , which holes loads the tyres ? more i have 2 hole at diff an 2 holes at frount plate and i ran them in lower hole at diff an top hole frount.

Put the front end one down and try that, every car and track like different combinations, keep testing to get hte best results and the most knowledge (expereince) from the testing
