70Sbird OP mopar Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 697 Central IL	I cant believe I'm asking what I thought was a question I could answer myself fairly easily...but can someone help ID this 318 engine? based on my limited research it looks like a 1987 engine but I have no idea what application. It does NOT have the roller lifters that I though might be there and it does have the "302" heads. Engine stamping is 7M31809041220 and the casting # looks to be 4387530 318 7. Not sure what trucks/vans got in 87 for heads, no roller cam though. They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
