I have recently discovered a fuel leak on my Holley 750 DP carb. It seems as though it is leaking after I shut the engine down. Fuel will puddle on the intake and the fuel line is dry. What could be the cause and fix for this? I'm new to Holley carbs.

Bowl, metering block gaskets or secondary pump diaphragm.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Float level too high? Power valve/gasket leaking?

Could be loose fasteners, warped mating surfaces, dried-out secondary diaphragm (if double pumper), cross-threaded fitting adapter...
I'd look around the carb & pull it off, check all the mating surfaces for warpage, replace diaphragm (green stands up to alcohol better) & gaskets, check float level, test.

This is my guess. It usually leaks between the rubber part of the diaphragm, and the little metal thing that the pump actuating arm rides on.

I got one of the Holley Super Street all aluminum carbs. I haven't took the time to specifically figure out why it was leaking, but 2 metering block-to-main body gaskets stopped it.

I'll bet yours is "seeping" while the engine is running too. Best to check.

I have had accelerator pump diaphragms weep on me brand new.

My bad, I read it as leaking IN the manifold. Any of those gaskets could be the problem and sometimes it's just a matter of snugging up the bowl and acc. pump covers.......
