So I pulled out of storage the parts I had to install and mount a spare tire in my 67 Coronet...

My thoughts are to get a decent steel wheel with a comparable tire size to whats on the car...

Any better options or ideas here??

Yea... A can of fix-a-flat, a cell phone, and a AAA card.

Planning on selling the car this summer so I was more interested in tire wheel options in the spare tire well to finish this area off.....

Personally, that would be my choice. I like having a full size spare... and have been glad to have one on many occasions. Personally the appearance (wheel style, tire brand) is not so important. More important that it fits and can run to complete a trip after a flat. This includes my muscle car which has a full size spare.

My last 3 flats have been severe... a big hole that fix a flat would not take care of. Tire trashed, far from home and glad to have a spare.
