Oh yeah we will be pulling out of here about 3:30 am or so. Hoping to get to Vegas by noon so we can get in and set up, get the car teched etc. Headed down 5 if anyone is in needs anything hollar. For those who dont have it, although I think most everyone here on this post does here is my number 707-980-2167....

Well, a small miracle happened today. We finished the car, and we will be going to Vegas. We will only be able to make some passes on Friday, but, Friday is better than nothing.

I checked the TNT for Friday, and it shows from 10-4:30 PM. Is this still the actual schedule for TNT???

Anyone else still out in the garage thrashing? I finally got the fuel system squared away, now I need some clean-up and a generic preset on the cal-tracs. Hook the battery charger up for a good post-winter top off, and we should be good to go after work tomorrow afternoon.

What is the latest we can arrive and still get in Thursday?

We're loaded up and hope to get away about 7:30 or so.
Should be at the gate in the 11:30 range.

I wasn't sure I was gonna get it done, everything just seems to snowball.

It's dirty, but its done. Plenty of time to shine her up sitting around Thursday afternoon.

MaTS "regret syndrome" really kicked in for me today. My income has been down from usual (auto tech) and I just didn't want to extend myself to run this event. It's spendy, but a very good time, especially hooking up with the Moparts group. I'm REALLY starting to regret not prepping the car and taking a couple days off. Dang!! would have camped out at the gate last night and had a few cold ones with the rest of the early birds. By now the car would have most likely been teched and we'd be sitting near a trailer with many people.....and many peoples coolers. Dang I'm stupid!! I may skip out of work saturday and drive up there to catch some racing action. I'm really regretting my sensible "decision" right now.

Last year I spent Thursday cruising to Vegas with the Big 4 door 1 ton, both cars on the trailer, and three generations of Gebharts on board!! This year..just a normal ole workday..the two ribeyes I cooked to perfection tonight did little to get the bad taste out of my mouth!!
