We've decided to stay at the track as well. No luxurious Speedway Ramada this year.
We'll put an air mattress on the floor of the Motel Pace and call it a bedroom. We have a bbq, microwave and will bring the waffle maker, so figure we're good to go.

Now I just have to get the car finished. Re-wiring and plumbing takes FOREVER.
Looks like the first hits on the bullet are going to be at MATS.

That's OK Glenn....you'll have a ton of good people at MATS to help and give advice. Plus we all get to see your reaction to the additional 200HP that thing makes

I'm really looking forward to this race...mostly because of the people that will be there!!

Say it aint so Ted...Hope you can make it. Heck I am still thrashing trying to get my heap ready to go. We are putting the new trans in tomorrow and if it does not rain make it to the track. Kind of running out of time myself as I still have to get the wheelstand calmed down and then try and dial in with a new fuel. We are hoping to be ready to go ourselves.

I know the feeling. I don't even have the motor back in the car yet. We'll get there though.

I Will be there, the rain is killing us out here. Went to sac. two weeks ago and the starter went out.Going back sat. looks like it will be clear and next sat. to t/t and then head to Vegas.

In my opinion, if you wanna get a decent picture, mid day is probably a bad time. Alot of people will be in their own pits prepping the car, or in line to race... Seems to me that early or late would be easier to get people rounded up...

Well, my buddies all bailed on me. BUT----I just reserved a swap meet spot, 20x25 and will be in a red dodge dually, hauling a small enclosed red and white trailer. It has the Kasey Kahne number 9 on it. I will take enough stuff to try and get rid of it to pay for the spot. This way I have a sleeping spot because I will haul the LANCE camper on back and bring some MOPARTS beer for the members. I will also bring some water for members. Just stop by and say HI or call at my number.

I will also post the number on the trailer as my goal is not to sell much if anything, its to get a place to sleep, cook burgers and bring beer and water for some of you. And watch LOTS OF RACING AND learn some stuff for my race car and 38 Plymouth. --CANT WAIT. Its been a long winter

The LAWFISH trailer is not needed due to the small abount of stuff I am bringing and its also in Idaho.

Well nothing like waiting till the last minute, I finally got pre registered so now I will have to get serious about getting the truck/car/trailer ready to go.

As far as pre-registering it does not matter,
yes you will save a few $$, but they will still
be happy to take your money at the gate when
you arrive.

It looks like it will just be me going without my brother or his car. I will be helping out Bob Mazzolini with his SS/AH HEMI car. If Kevin Berthoud goes, I will help him out as well. This should be very fun. Im looking forward to many peoples cars running including G-Bobs, Mazzolinis Cuda, Chris Costanzas Silver Cuda with the new HEMI and then a few others cars. WIll be fun to hang out and meet a few new people as well. Look for Mazzolinis Yellow Cuda with Blue flames and say hi.
