When I bought my Challenger, the previous owner told me the 383 was non numbers matching. I took him at his word and today I finally crawled under and checked. The # on the pad is 0D181745. Any way to tell from what car it originated? I know the original car was from the Belvedere, IL plant, but have no idea what they built there.
It might explain some of the brackets, incorrect hoses and such that are on my car that I will need to change.
Thanks!

Thanks. I know it was rebuilt, but have no idea what they put in it. Runs nice. I was just curious.
