For me as a footbraker it depends on how hard the car 60fts and how the suspension works and either drives out or lifts the front tires. Alot will depend on your convertor too and where you can leave at to find that sweet spot. For me 26" tires work well for my mid 1.5's 60ft's. I put 28" tall on my other car that has mid to high 1.4's 60ft, but that seem to be overkill and next time I will prob go to 27".

Mine seems to work well with a 27 mt .. Had 24s before I put different headers on it.. It has 60ft in 1.30 range normally.. Has been a best of 1.27 on cal-tracks..

Smaller tire = quicker reaction time and slower ET.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

This is a fairly common saying with the older guys I race with...But it depends ENTIRELY how you hit the tree. If you're leaving on the bottom bulb, you're RT is what it is...If youre bottom bulb racing, I don't know how you could leave "sooner" and still react to the bottom.

Going down to a 27" helped me slightly... Probably going to go even more next time I need fronts so I don't have to leave at 3k to go .00X

With regular bulbs(not LED) back in the day I could see the bottom ( any or all of them one at a time)start to glow, get brighter and then start to go out. When I would ask some of the other racers about when they would leave they had no idea about seeing the bulbs start to glow, get brightest and then start to go out shruggy
As far as having several different size front tires mounted on spare rims in the trailer is a good thing up
Not all tracks have the same and equal roll out, even on both sides of the track scope
