Hi all,
In the picture below (340 Six Pack/auto), are the spring ends in the correct positions on the throttle shaft or should they be reversed? I see them both ways on the internet and I am sure they will function either way, just curious as to the correct positions. Thanks

I was thinking the same thing also. I noticed that the kickdown spring was rubbing against the kickdown plate when I set mine up like in the first picture. Otherwise the picture I posted shows what appears to be a very original/correct 340 Six Pack so I was wondering. Thanks for the reply and the excellent diagram.

Sounds good. I went out and corrected the springs on mine already. I notice the throttle spring is now more in line (square) to the throttle shaft.
