Im sure that the car will look better once it has all its decalls/logos on it. I think he should pick up Carls Jr. for its primary sponsor and put the smiley face and eyes on the front of the car to compliment the big yellow star draped over the front of the car.

Guess I missed that part...SM classes are full of guys with DEEP pockets. I imagine the economy is gonna take a big hit out of those classes. Thought I saw only 22 cars showed up in Pomona for Comp. Oh yeah you pretty sure that they are talking 99 Hemi not the old elephant type right

I almost guarantee it is a 99 Hemi. Super Modified rules allow for pretty much anything power wise. Heads are only limited to NHRA approved pieces. A/SM is a 7.5lbs per cube 2800lb minimum dual 4 class. So I am thinking a baby Hemi, a few of them running oujt there now, but not sure there are any in S/M a do know of three in the altered classes. BTW the record for A/SM is 7.78/174.23 the index is 8.41. This is certainly not the conventional A/SM car. Most are late model GM cars. Kind of a what Pro Stock should look like. These are stock body line cars not the stretched out, narrowed up low slung current cars. For instance This Pontiac(excuse me)Sunfire

There is a post on yellowbullet.com that he has been on. Was also talking about being able to change combo's in the car to run 10.5 class.
