The guys running injection that have the coil packs
on them I could use some ideas on mounting the coil
packs.. I know Bill(Bad340fish) has a pic I'd like to
see and if you put it on the valve cover where did you
move your breather(oil fill) to.. thanks guys

I do plan on making a smaller plate that they
mount on.. I MIGHT get it to fit on the valve
cover with the breather still in place.. it'll
be close.. also I have my regulator on the back
of the engine going across the valve cover.. I
might move that to the firewall or the inner
fender well I dont like it where it is.. I have
tilt it up every time I adjust the valves and it
gets loose tilting it back and forth
EDIT
By the way I picked up the same coils you show
in your first pick(LS type)

Trendz,

Do you have a picture of the mount that you made for the red MSD coils?

I like that setup you made!

Mark

I don't have a picture of the coil mounts. All they are is tubing with a tab tig'd to them. That car is in my shop right now in pieces, maybe I can snap a pic later tonight.

Hi Trendz, that would be great if you could...even if the coils are mounted that would be good as well!

Regards, Mark

I bought some brackets from a guy I found on the internet. They are actually designed for fitting the better LS truck coils onto the older LS valve covers. They are nice and compact and didn't cause problems with the breathers.

FYI I am Clark(Bad340fish) my Dad is Bill(340Cuda) I can't believe you couldn't keep our names straight since you met us on the side of the road in 2013 haha

I have no idea why half the stuff I upload is sideways but it is what it is

The brackets came from Billet-Speed.com but I know you can make some of these easy.

Like I said they were designed to put the hotter coils on the older LS valve covers, but they worked great for attaching them to my covers.

Man I do too, we probably would still be there if it was not you, Dale and Jack from Rockett Racing Fuel!

Darn MSD coil! One of several reasons Clark went coil on plug.
