Are you talking aluminum restoration?

If you had asked sooner, the answer would have been alltrim.com for aluminum panels, but he's retired now. Don't know if anyone has taken his place.

If no help from this forum, you can search Hemmings Motor News classified ads ("World's Largest Collector Car Market") - they have 9 listing for aluminum restoration and anodizing in a recent issue. Each monthly issue is over 500 pages, mostly classifieds.

Also Shine on Me Trim in California. They restored/re-anodized my aluminum belt mouldings and did a really nice job. They came back looking like new.

Bill did the trunk panel on my '69 Barracuda. Was very happy with the result.

I have known Bill for decades and he has done quite a few of my panels and many others for friends on my recommendation! wave

Terrible experience with Bill. I would never, ever use him and cannot recommend him to anyone. He is not an ethical business man.

Suffice it to say he gave me a price to just anodize one piece of molding. The price he quoted was high but because it was a long piece I agreed. When I go send it to him he more than tripled the price and was not nice about it at all! He wanted like $350 to anodize just one piece of molding!

I asked around and I think it was MCR ???? that recommended Charlotte Anodizing in Michigan and they were cheap and great to deal with. Work was great.

Biggest problem with Bill was what a jackass he was. He also was quite rude to me prior to this event when I asked about getting some work done at one of the major shows. Mike at AllTrim ended up doing all my work before he quit doing it.

My buddy also had quality issues with Bill when he restored his 65 Fury trim.

IMO much better places to go especially from a customer service perspective.

Sounds like he did your piece decades ago as Alltrim has been done for at least 10 or 15 years. I have had Bill do dozens of parts for me and my friends with no issues. shruggy

Norm did my tail panel, grille and headlight bezels. Turned out great, but remember, the better the condition of the cores, the better the end result will be.
