Who has the best fitting blanket or shield for a 727 trans ? B&M shifter/cable . Deep pan . Dougs headers . In a 1968 b body . Car is a daily driver Thanks ,

Lofgren makes a shorter blanket also, if he is still selling them. Ultrabell is also an option.

I bought one and took it to an automotive upholstery shop. They were able to shorten it. They weren't happy doing it because they broke a couple of needles doing it. We have a couple of leatherwork shops around as well. They said they can do it without any issues. They do a lot with horse saddles and really thick leather.

As long as you don't need it to be SFI certified, then that's OK. As far as I know Lofgren has been out of the blanket business for a while.

Lofgren makes a shorter blanket also, if he is still selling them. Ultrabell is also an option. The Ultrabell only covers the converter, not the cast front drum and that is what hurts when it explodes and comes through the floor
