however as someone recently told me; IN N OUT specializes in what? Burgers.......not burritos, steak shrimp etc. and we can all agree about how successful they are...........  So burgers it is for now at least.........  So your staying NA.   I myself can be impressed with just, what a car runs, reguardless of a power adder. But I still respect the NA stuff when someone can go fast with it. I still carry the NA flag myself. Not quite bored yet. Nitrous, not so impressed unless your running really fast. A example given was a 17 year old with a nothing SB motor that could run 5.7,s being sprayed, engine so mild it could go into grampas pickup. See, is that impressive, not so much. Heck, they don't even know what kind of cam is in it. So easy, a Caveman can do it. Like Shania Twain said, That don't impress me much.  Sense of humor nitrous guys.  Maybe but I meant to address TRENDS comment about phasing into blo-through and blower stuff and that at this time theres no way to test that stuff therefore not an option or desire hence..........IN N OUT does burgers and only burgers...........

Come on thumper tell us the truth. Isn't it fun going faster than most of the guys NA. I know I love doing it and with a small block it's even more fun Some people are wired different. If that gives YOU personal satisfaction, that's great......but means nothing to some of us. That's like saying I have the fastest 72 green scamp with a 318, single exhaust and 14" wheels. You can narrow anything enough to seem impressive. To me, it's about the number. What does it RUN. Regardless of combos, there is always somebody faster. When you talk about numbers, you can say, yeah that smallblock runs good N/A. That is until somebody mentions Laverne's N/A smallblock, which goes 5.0s. No matter his car is lighter, has better heads, whatever. Nobody cares about that. Whats the NUMBER He doesn't even realize that as he's bragging about this Nova with a $3500 engine going 5.70, ......he's doing just what he is mocking others for.......amazing.....

Anyone can do it! Oh, wait.  Love ya Monte, but you use this kind of stuff on a bunch of threads. I know minimal bits of info on making a n2o car live. But it would be easy for me too if you issued the parts and gave me the tuning advice. Did you charge the 17 year old $1000 a day for this?

No, quite the contrary. I totally admire Monte and his tuning advice. It has helped me greatly in chassis understanding.
My point is only that what may seem simple on the surface, is not for those of us a bit in the dark.

I'm guessing the Nova was put together with GOOD parts from the get go also. Not like the car has slapper bars and CE 90/10 shocks on it... I would also guess the car 60's quite well.
The bottom line is, Nitrous can be a simple way to make the car go faster without breaking the bank. As far as Dom losing customers, well his work and how he treats customers will be what determines that. PERIOD.

71 demon stock stroke 440/indy ez-1 running 10.10 @ 132.14 mph in the 1/4 and 6.36 @ 107.46 mph in the 1/8 not in the same weekend but It did it then I sold it.

If so it is pretty nice beginner 17 year olds car, bead locks, Heim tie rods, rack and pinion, nice paint and body. Not begrudging him at all but it didn't come from a after school job at McDonalds.
