I'm looking for head on valve spring compressor for a 426 Hemi. I've looked for the ones mentioned Detroit Tool, Mancini Racing, and Parts Wizard,I think that's the name? But anyway no luck. I have 1968 Hemi in a 69 road runner with stock heads Crane roller cam and springs 587 lift with stock rockers and shafts. I want to check valve seals or lack of. I did a leak down test,all cylinders under 20 percent cold. I'm getting oil pooling on the intake valves. I've resealed the intake,twice. When I look through the springs,though I can't see that clear l don't see any seals, otherwise the engine runs hard but smokes bad. So before I start tearing into the engine l would like to explore all possibilities. Thanks in advance for any advice. Ed

I've never seen or used one so good luck

I have one and being that they are out of production, glad I did....It wasn't cheap. I need to see how easy it would be to make copies.....

Landy (DLI) used to sell one many years ago; bought one from them but to work in the car we had to modify the handle.
Silver Seal used to make a silicone stem seal that worked great in mine. Maybe they still offer it. We needed the ID/OD measurements as at the time it wasn't listed for that application. They were not expensive.

I'm guessing that it's the one like this.

The way I understand it the LSM will only work with the JESSEL valve train and some other brand,can't remember the name,sorry. I hope someone will let me know if it will work with the stock valve train . Thanks Ed
