Have been thinking about if it's possible to run twin turbo set-up in B-Body early or late and putting the turbo's in the rear. Now have 572 gen2 with EFI on it. Turbo lag would be pressent but it's a street car and cubic inches would help in beginning. Any body have set-up like this? SB/RB/Hemi?
I know there's very little use for this much power on public roads but I can't get the idea out of my head. Have been back and forth between Pro-Chager and 2Turbo.
Looking for about 1200HP. Should not be a big problem to obtain. Will have to go trough engine and reduce CR. Have Stage V heads now which are GR8.
Tried to find some more info on the twin turbo'd 66 belvedere build by Troy Trepanier. But no specs on turbo's turbine and compressor side. Difference between 572 and 528 isn't that much.
All positive tech input welcome.

Hi Hemi-itis. What do you mean with bigtime? Is this a company. Maybe a link to them. Google does not give info.

I wouldn't even bother intercooling its only gonna take about 10 psi. whats the current compression ratio?

Twin as to single turbo is looking at the idea of 2 different sizes. 1 for lower rpm en 2e to follow. Am in the very first stage of thinking about it. Have a good book about turbo set-up. But why invent the wheel again. My speedshop guy advices to go pro-charger. He may be right . But what if ....

Just because of the less hassle to install Twin t setup will be more unique though...

Do the crank-mounted prochargers have the problem of slipping/throwing belts, or is it just the ones that are mounted up higher to the side that have the problem? Ron Bookman(spelling)here on Moparts has a drivers side mounted procharger that runs low 8's in his Dart and I know he's pretty frustrated with tearing up belts. I love Prochargers, they seem to be the loudest cars at the track.
