What is the radio grounded too? A separate wire or the dash frame?

I remember we could listen to the radio without the keys back then by turning on the flashers, the turn signal, and pushing the brake all at the same time. Maybe something is haywire with those circuits. My Dad showed me that on his '67 Belvedere II s/w. He was a C-P mechanic from '65-'69 and somehow, someone, figured that out. Tim
